More Information about CDs
Projects
on Susan's CDs are taught using acrylic paint. They
include complete instructions, full-size line drawings, color
photos, and even a few step-by-step worksheets. The CDs come to
you ready to pop right into your computer's CD ROM to download or view
using your computer. The Ornament Collection CDs include
patterns, instructions, photos; and some worksheets. The "Paint
Classes" CDs such as Flakey Friends and Winter Friends contain complete
instructions, full-size line drawings, color photos, class log, and
short video clips. They are all PC and MAC friendly. The files are in .pdf format. Please keep reading below to learn even more!

From the Beginner to Advanced Painter - There is something for
everyone! A variety of surfaces are used- from precut shapes such as
hearts, to mini gourds, to wood cutouts.
The Flakey Friends and Winter Friends CDs contain two projects
each. The Flakey Friends projects are
painted on a sled and a wooden cutout. They range in size but are
about 15" tall. These two projects are taught in a "class" format
with detailed information, including short video clips of various
painting techniques used. The Winter Friends projects include Santa 'n
Ginger painted on a large laser-cut snowflake, while the Peppermint
Snowman Tray is painted on an 11" scalloped tray. The CDs will
contain the files for each project which include the instructions,
photos, step by
step worksheets, patterns and video clips.
Ornament Collection CDs are organized by project and come with a thumbnail index so that
you can pick individual projects with ease. Once you decide which
ornament you are going to paint first, simply click on that file and
before your very eyes... you will have the printable photos, line
drawings and detailed instructions. Lots of printable color
worksheets are also included. There are no video-clips on the Ornament Collection CDs. There are files containing
photos, instructions, worksheets and patterns that you can easily print out from
your own computer & printer! And, you can also see everything
on your computer screen, too!
Previous painting experience is suggested to achieve similar results;
however, Beginners can add linework with ink, instead of shading, if
desired.
All CDs will come to you in .pdf
format, which you will need a current copy of
Adobe Reader to open the files. Most of you already have Adobe on
your computer, but if you need a copy, you can download one FREE by
