 Meet Susan Kelley

Painting Designer, Author and Teacher...
I have been painting and crafting for more than twenty years now. I
suppose it is more than just a hobby at this point, but to this day I
still love being creative!
In
2001, 'Puddles of Paint' was born. Since I was on a tight budget
but wanted an online presence, I spent huge amounts of time
learning to design, create and maintain this website. Graphic design is
second only to
my love for decorative painting!
My
family includes 1 very nice husband, 3 awesome sons, 3 beautiful
daughters-in-law, 7 way-too-cute grand children and 3 crazy cats. Sadly, I lost my parents in 2018, just a month apart from
one another. I knew they were soul mates being married 64+
years... always together... and then when dad passed away, mom was
admitted into the hospital just 2 days after his funeral. She
held on for a bit, and then she too passed away. I am certain
that they are together again embarking on their new journey in Heaven.
I have authored and
co-authored several decorative painting books, as well as hundreds of
pattern packets and Ornament Collection CDs. My style is usually on the
whimsical side and I use acrylics. I love painting all things winter,
including my original candy-cane nosed snowmen. Now hundreds of
pattern packets fill the pages of my online Shop. Online video classes are
also available in my Shop ... where you
can paint with me from the comfort of your home but still get the
close-up visual aspect of my painting techniques.
